History — first of all, to make certain we’re all on the same page [Jennifer], I want to remind you that Hawai’i is a state. The state is comprised of 8 main islands. OC and I live on the island named Oahu. Tomorrow we will be getting on an airplane and flying to the island named Hawai’i, which is also known as The Big Island. That’s to keep people from getting all confused like some of you would likely be if I hadn’t explained all of this!
ANYWAY, I am taking my laptop with me and the hotel we’re staying in does provide complimentary wifi, but just the same don’t expect to hear too much from me. I am mostly taking my laptop as storage for the digital camera. The beach front of our hotel has acres of tidal pools and is a favorite hang out of sea turtles.
Just like our trip to the San Juan Islands this summer, OC is working and I am going to play. Unlike the trip to the San Juans, we’ll only be on Hawaii overnight. Expect me back here with lots of exciting photos before the weekend.
