Exhausted

June 22, 2008

7:40 p.m., just in the door from friends/food/fun swimming and barbecue — which followed speaking in church, which was preceded  by Saturday’s  visit to the USS Missouri  from 11 a.m. to  5:00  p.m., which was followed by dinner out.

What I’m trying to say is:  I need a weekend to recover from my weekend!  New post sometime Monday — I think.

LOL! Go rest. Take your weekend today through Wednesday. :)

By the way, I finally got some Shoyu sauce. I saw it in a local health food store, and I think I scared the hippies when I yelled, “SHOYU!!!!” It is really good. I like the flavor.

Sounds like a wonderful time…hope you are rested now.

About the freezer post, i must have been working on the title. It changed several times…and I accidentally published before it was ready, so had to edit.

Well at least it was fun. Enjoy your rest. BTW our bananas are still sort of cheap here. They are still under $1.00 per pound. It seems to vary from store to store as well as state to state.

i know the feeling… but sounds you had a great time.
rest as much as you need, other things will wait.

    Robert — thanks. I am.

Brig — whatever happened to the stuff you ordered online? If you really want to love Shoyu, mix it with some cornstarch and thicken it on the stove, then, maybe 5-10 min before your chicken pieces come out of the oven, paint them with it. Serve with rice (and more Shoyu sauce) and steamed broccoli. Heavenly!

    Amber — rested enough.

    Jill — way fun. Thanks.

Juliana — except for those chores needing done so OC can leave the house on Monday morning — like laundry and such. I asked him if he was certain he needed to wear clothes to work, and I even questioned the need for them to be clean. He was adamant on both counts. Yes, clothes. Yes clean. Pft.

  • Brig says:

Procrastination. I meant to order it, and then finances got tight and it got hard to justify spending $30 on stuff that’s similar to soy sauce. Then, when finances loosened, I forgot.

That does sound good, and I’ll try it.

  • Melli says:

That’s exactly how I’m feeling about my vacation!
