Do they talk?
I mean, *giggles* Elevators in London talk to you.
But in the most booooored voice you’ve ever heard!
And at peak hours in hotels, when everybody wants to take the same elevator, either up, or down again, it STOPS AT EVERY LEVEL. You find yourself going up and down six or seven times before you reach your destination.
I was in the London Hilton ( just for coffee, mind you!) and I got a chance to see the interior decoration on every level on the way down. I went straight up, that was a relief!
Can you imagine desperately needing a loo ( = toilet, or a rest room?) or something?
Mind you, I do think they should use a little bit more imagination when it comes to entertaining people!
You know, can you imagine? Been there, done that … duh!

I was going to tell you that we don’t have any elevator in our small town but I thought of 3 places.
The hospital which is 2 stories.
The Northside School Bed and Breakfast.
The Kootenai River Inn.

If you have time stop on in and my doors are open and the coffee is on.

You always can find the different. All the elevator doorws I’ve seen are bland. Those are beautiful.

I probably have a bigger elevator at work than you do (they call it the megavator!), but you have the prettiest by far. What a treat to see these every day at work.
