On our way to the beach today with my new camera lenses (you’ll want to visit Quilly Unshuttered), Amoeba and I encountered Thom and his nieces. They were on their way to a family meal — which Amoeba and I were invited to join. We had a very nice time and some yummy food. I took lots of photos of people who I didn’t ask about the public sharing of their pics, so you likely won’t see them here, but I did make the pics available to Thom to share with his friends and family.

The park was full of sun lovers. Two of them attempted to fly a kite for the first time. I captured it on film.
It was a wonderful afternoon!
Oh my Thom. I think I will recognize you anywhere now ;0) Quilly, I was looking at this weeks coming up 3WT and you have set a challenge for me. Not with using the words but when to stop! ARGHHhh! This isn’t a cop out is it. I know you have your new cam and all but come on! j/k I look forward to the challenge.

Doug — that was my original theory, but Thom kept going in and out of the water and I never saw him apply any SPF Anything.

Wow, what a nice thing, for Thom to invite you to join his family get together. Sounds like a most wonderful time for all. I’m glad you took & shared these photos of Thom, now I finally have a good idea what he looks like. Handsome… and no vampire teeth apparently, lol. I wonder if they grow after dark though, and shrink in sunlight… oh wait. Sunlight!! Vampires don’t do sunlight! Further proof.

Glad you had a good time taking pictures. It was nice that you and OC met up with Thom and his family and had a Grand Afternoon. So this is what our “Young Thom” looks like, I can see why the “Little Old Ladies” like to ride his bus.

LOL! Oooops on the kite! The one I bought at the beach last year is an EASY flier — it needs very little wind and practically goes up by itself! I LOVE that!
