Melli — in the middle-ages boys began training to be pages as young as 6 years old. Most of them weren’t apprenticed to a knight until they were 10 or 11, because before then they weren’t strong enough to do the chores.

Plus, todays kids are being held way back in what they could and should be capable of. Did you know that when The Hobbit was written, it was considered a children’s novel and was quite popular with 10 year olds? Now many adults don’t have the vocabulary required to read the book!

LOVE that kid's vocabulary LOL and very glad you saved the Patisserie! This keeps getting better and better, I love it. Mine's a bit shorter and will be up in a bit. This is the first episode that I had a chance to see, and it didn’t matter. I was right in the thick of the story. I didn’t even need to look out for the “words of the week”. Great-great!
