Nothing is coming to mind right off the bat — will have to think about this one for a bit.
OK, I might have it now. I was stuck on on phrase that didn’t make sense, but another came to mind. But I’ll keep thinking — one never knows for sure til the answer is revealed.

I was up late last night… at 2:58am PST (11:58pm HST) I put down the laptop for some reason I don’t now remember, planning to be right back to be first here. I ended up going to bed without returning to Punny Monday… sheeeeesh! If the answer is what I think it is… then I am one.

And it doesn’t matter how many cheats you provide if you don’t provide time. Have you noticed that most of us let our contests run several hours, not just minutes? And we do them at a scheduled time so people know when to go look and how much time they have to think? See, I know at least one person who wanted to play your game, but they discovered it when they didn’t have time even to cheat and when they came back you’d already posted the answers.

Oh, go back and read to the bottom of yesterday’s post with the contest, at the update at 2118 hrs MDT, I gave you 14 Hours and 39 Minutes to get your answer in. That would have been about 1718 Hrs your time. I didn’t post the answers until today.
Just needed to make that observation. So I am sorry someone didn’t think they had time to participate in the game. So please go back and read the original post and see how much time people had and the original post time and update time.
Can’t wait to see what it is, I haven’t got a clue!

well, i had to google it to find out what it actually means. which, of course, doesn’t necessarily mean i haven’t come across the phrase before without paying attention…
and what has serbia got to do with me (other than that we used to share a country)? there was too much bloodshed in the region (bosnia in particular, parts of croatia and ,of course, kosvo) in the recent past, though, so you may have a point after all
Polona — yesterday I had a massive headache and was sick to my stomach all day. Apparently that made it impossible for me to tell Serbia from Croatia or Bosnia, or even Florida for that matter. Sorry.
