Josh Pertler

pertlerHollywood is soon to be a bit brighter.  Up and coming new star, Josh Pertler, is out to become an overnight sensation — a goal that has been years in the making.

As a Senior at Lincoln-Way East High School in Frankfort, IL, Josh played guard on the Basketball team. But Josh wasn’t dreaming about the NBA. He had his sights set on Hollywood.

Josh started his showbiz career at 11 years old. While appearing in various Christian Youth Theatre productions, he realized he had a passion for entertaining people. Since then he has appeared in McDonald’s commercials as well as doing modeling for Kohls, Sears, State Farm Insurance, Tropicana and others. Josh’s biggest role to date was playing the part of Pookie in Lori Petty’s, The Poker House.

Josh currently lives in L.A. He is taking acting classes and looking for his next role. Keep your eyes open and remember his name. You’re sure to be hearing more about him soon.

    I’ve never heard of him. I’ll have to ask my daughter who keeps up with entertainment stuff better than me.

      Kay — I’d never heard of him until I received this assignment, however, a bit of research revealed a driven young man with a winning smile and a good game plan.
