Oh I am a huge fan of black olives…my sister in law and I still sorta fight over them. I’m supposed to be watching my salt at the moment so I guess I’ll need to put them at the opposite end of the table.

LOL! Melli — I used to take a toothpick and pull the pimentoes out of the olives — never even thought of picking them up and sucking them out. Too funny. I am so NOT eating at your house!

Quilly, my mom quit putting the black olives out on the table because I would finish them off before the meal even began! And the same with the green olives for my sister! I’m not crazy about the green olives… I do remember sucking the pimento out and then putting the olives back — but I don’t remember how long I got away with that!

I just went to my store and they have NO JONES SODA at all! But they usually do. That shelving is just bare. I wonder who is having the big Jones Soda party?

Oh well, maybe we can do it together next year – -that gives us more time to plan!

I did! And the other night I ran around to ALL of them in our area. But I knew NONE of them would have that flavor! I did find the green apple and *gag me* the bubble gum! *shudder* …. but no Tofurkey…. I MIGHT could have ordered it from the company — but $20 for a six pack of what I’m sure will be rather gross soda just seemed a bit much to me… I’m sO sorry! I really REALLY did want to do it!

Oh, you make me wish we were celebrating it too! I have a turkey for Thursday’s supper, and will make the whole traditional feast, but it will happen after school on what’ a regular day here, so no guests, no parade or football game, no ‘holiday’ feeling. We’re really only doing it to teach the little ones about Thanksgiving day in America, and be in sympathy for our oldest one who’s on her own in WV, and (thank God for kind and wonderful people!) will be spending the day with the neighbours.

We’ll have black olives! LOL The baby would eat the whole jar if we let her.
