11.05.09 Punny Monday
Welcome to Punny Monday. This is a fun little guessing game meant to spark your imagination and tickle your punny bone. Every Monday I post an original photo and ask my readers to figure out what was going on in my brain (or Amoeba’s) when he/I/we made it. Posting time varies so every time zone occasionally gets a fair shot at being first to see the game.
Here is the image you need to base your guess on:
What noun does this photo represent? EMAIL your answers and leave a comment designed to either help or confuse your fellow game players. The first contestant to EMAIL me the right answer wins a featured link in my blog which will display until next Monday when we’ll play this little game again. Enjoy.
PLEASE, do not write your guess in the comments. It spoils the game for the other players. Your guesses will be shared when the game ends. Oh, and just because someone announces they’ve won, doesn’t mean that they have. Please keep guessing until I post the answers!

Now I know how you got well and why you were ill in the first place.
Doug — only metaphorically.
???
You call this EASY?!?
Yes, and so will you when you see the answer.
I’ve sent a guess, though I’m not very confident about it. Sorry that you aren’t feeling well. Hope the luncheon goes well and maybe perks your spirits up.
Raven — I don’t feel ill near as much as I hurt, but thanks for your concern.
Taking a stab at it, but….sheeesh.
Stacy — give it another stab. This time use the point.
When you say easy, my brain goes into “sleep” mode. Not.a.clue.
Kelley — maybe if I poke you with a nail, it will “up” your concentration.
Know what? I don’t have a clue either…It’s definitely interesting, tho////
Peg — positively intoxicating.
No idea, though I keep going back and looking at the photo. Does it matter what the drink is?
Barbara — well, yes, generically speaking, it does.
a noun????
Mar — yep — two words.
Finally think I got one…sure hope you feel better soon!
This one has certainly separated the sinners from the saints! 😉
Duh!
Spiked punch! You know I thought of that first and then forgot and went off to glass nails world. Drat. Go Doug!
Raven — tsk! tsk! Tsk!
.
My guess, right away, would have been “Spiked the punch.’
Too bad I missed it. Better luck next time, Jim. (Actually I have been very busy today doing work for Mrs. Jim’s favorite charity.)

O Quilly, I feel soooooo sorry that you are hurting. I do hope your swelling an pain will go away very soon as it appears to be lingering on.
I didn’t know about your situation until I scrolled down to see your other recent posts after posting the above.
..
Jim — it’s just pain. I’ll live. (Although not happily! Thanks for your concern!)
.
Punny Mondays are tough on you, Quilly. Here is hoping for feeling better and better each day now. 🙂
Go back to the Dr. if you think it would help because these things can get you down!
As much as we like those Punny Mondays but we sure aren’t liking these “Puny Days” you are having now. I am sure you are not either.
You are in my prayers,
..
Hey, Congratulations Doug!! You’ve won PM three weeks in a row!
Karen — you’re right, he did! Hey, Doug — time to sit one out!
I would never have gotten this one.
Hope that you’re feeling better, Quilly!
No idea at all! I hope you’re feeling better, Quilly.
