Homemade Truffles

The way to my man’s heart is through his stomach. I think that can be said for most men, but that especially goes for my husband. I cooked for him on one of our first dates and after he had my homemade chocolate cake, he was definitely mine. So I thought that it would be perfect for me to remind him of that by making him some special candy for our anniversary.

I thought about making plain chocolate candy with my candy molds, but I wanted to do something a little more special. I searched online with our www.get.wildblue.com/ to find special candy recipes and after a little while of doing that, I thought it would be perfect to make some chocolate truffles.

I had never made truffles before and they were definitely a little tougher to make than other kinds of candy I’d tried before, but they taste so good! My husband loved them and I might have to make another batch within the week. But I think it is worth the extra work, for our anniversary at least.
