Every year about this time I start researching web hosting services. The same top ten have been pretty solid for the last couple of years. That either means they are staying on the cutting edge of technology or they provide such great service that a little shabby can be overlooked. It could also mean that they just work harder to keep the polish and shine on their image.
Anyway, I do the researching every year and spend time wondering if I should change my blog host, and then I ultimately decide I am content with the provider I’ve got. I rarely experience any down time. When I have a problem tech support is top-notch and speedy, too. And, if the techs were rolling on the floor laughing the day I broke my blog with a misplace apostrophe, it didn’t show in their voices or their professional response when they helped me out.
This year I really would have been tempted to change. I searched web hosting news and found an astounding Halloween discount treat that is still good. One web provider is offering a full year of webhosting for under $10.00 — seriously. How could anyone resist that? Unfortunately for me, it is my webhost provider and I am ineligible. Fortunately for me, I still get my webhosting at an excellent price.
