… and it didn’t cost me a fortune!
Zenni Optical is my go-to place for eyeglasses. In fact, as I type this, I am wearing Zenni Optical frames and lenses. This past winter I went to my regular optometrist and had my eyes checked. Instead of buying glasses there, I just asked for my prescription and my pupillary distance.
After my appointment I went to Zenni Optical online and searched for the perfect pair of eyeglasses. I found the pair I wanted, copied my prescription info into Zenni’s easy to understand order form, added my payment info and hit send. A few weeks later my new glasses arrived in the mail and we’ve lived happily ever after together.
I have been wearing these glasses for months now and I love them. They are just as stylish and fancy as eyeglasses I could have purchased for big bucks at the mall, but the Zenni eyeglasses only cost me $16.85, and then $4.95 for shipping and handling. That means I bought a great pair of glasses for the total price of $21.80. That is a huge savings.
This year my optometrist wanted to put me in tri-focals. Since I’ve never learned to cope well with bi-focals, I really didn’t want to try my luck with three fields of vision all at once, rather, I purchased a pair of bi-focals for everyday life, and a second pair of glasses with only my tri-focal prescription. Those are the glasses I use when doing book work or sitting at the computer. That might not be everybody’d best solution, but it has worked wonderfully well for me. Not only that, I saved a ton of money, which is important since I don’t have vision insurance.
