Collaborate
COLLABORATE n.
- To work together, especially in a joint intellectual effort.
- To cooperate treasonably, as with an enemy occupation force in one’s country.
- Two or more persons working in unison to achieve the same goal.
I am uncertain which of these definitions best suits OC’s and my efforts in creating our joint post:
- There was a little cooperation (little being the operative word).
- There was definately some collaborating with the enemy, though OC and I both seem to be unclear on just who the enemy was.
- There also seemed to be more then two voices involved in the project, though OC swears it was my imagination.
- And, I was trying very hard to keep it intellectual, but … well, see for yourself. Check out:
He Said, She Said, an O’Ceallaigh & The Quill collaborative production.

I’m with you, Quilly. If any plant in the world should have been named Bullwhip Kelp (or Larry for that matter), it’s that one. I can very easily pick out the bullwhip, but I’m having a little trouble figuring out the bull. Oh, wait. That’s where the Dudes come in, isn’t it?? 😉 😀
the two of you (or is that four?) have produced some great entertainment.
It seemed to be more than two of you. I got lost in the kelp.
Brig — I really do think I could do a much better job naming the seaweed then the scientists did. And who are these dudes everybody is yammering about?!
Polona — there were only two of us on the dock. You may need some remedial math. But I’m glad you liked the post!
Dr. John — were you hearing voices, too? It was very confusing ….
I came back here where things are a little less schizophrenic. Plus, here I won’t have dreams about green choking monsters of the deep.
Nessa — monsters of the deep? That’s a horrible thing to say about OC!
OOooo, I’m tellin’.
I laughed…. and then I freaked out a little.
To cooperate TREASONABLY? Don’t they lock us up for treason??? Is that for real? Are you pullin’ my leg? I gotta go google now….
I liked the joint post… but shouldn’t there have been a post that mentioned leaving the continent and arriving in your new tropical home? Did I miss it?
