Quilly is the pseudonym of Charlene L. Amsden, who lives on The Big Island in Hawaii. When she is not hanging out with Amoeba, she is likely teaching or sewing. Or she could be cooking, taking photographs, or even writing. But if she's not doing any of that, she's probably on Facebook or tinkering with her blog.

I’m not sure what I was expecting but all I can see is a white box with a black frame. 🙁 I’ll try back tomorrow.
Donna, there’s a photo here, honest!
My kind of title; D
Probably what the cock is looking for. A good pea. 🙂
Umm. Suggestive? hum?? Actually I do like the pictures. The tv show “Lost” just doen’t to the island life justice. Of course they are not really there, right? They are lost on some island somewhere.
I was just hoping for a little LARGER piece…
Keep that camera handy young lady not all of us can make the trip. We travel through your camera’s eye 😉 Have a great day.
I know you well enough that I was expecting a bird… I was not disappointed :-p
exit, stage left 🙂
Well, they are just as proud of it huh?
Nessa — I rather thought you’d like it.
Brian — That’s why he hid around the corner! He wanted privacy!
Jill — wrong island. But you’re right, they really aren’t “supposed” to be in Hawaii.
Melli — uhm, I don’t think he could walk if that tail were any longer …..
Pauline — I carry it everywhere I go.
Tina — I suppose 8 years of friendship does give you enough experience to draw reasonable conclusions.
Polona — he already did!
SN — actually, this guy seemed a bit camera shy.
So you gave us the bird. I just feel like all those eyes are looking at me. Make them stop.
Dr. John — they are staring at you. And yep, I guess I did give everybody the bird.
Well… NOW I’m insulted! I wasn’t before… THANKS John!
Quilly… I didn’t say LONGER… I said LARGER… I was hoping it would be OPEN!
Melli — I knew what you meant. I was being deliberately obtuse. I have only seen one peacock with his tail spread since I’ve been here, and that was during the time I had no camera.
