Quilly is the pseudonym of Charlene L. Amsden, who lives on The Big Island in Hawaii. When she is not hanging out with Amoeba, she is likely teaching or sewing. Or she could be cooking, taking photographs, or even writing. But if she's not doing any of that, she's probably on Facebook or tinkering with her blog.

  1. Hey, nice plane pic! I haven’t been online in a while to check what’s what. I’m missing a vacation/trip to some where???

Have a nice trip and I look forward to the pics and stories when you can post them. For now, lots of old posts to catch up with.

  2. Morgan — shocker! While you were living your life, I was living mine! OC and I took a mini holiday one island over. Stay tuned for fantastic photos!

  3. ha, our local airline has some of these, too 🙂

love the reflection of the winglet on the wing and the line of clouds in the background

  4. Jules — stay tuned. It may take me a week to post all the photos!

Polona — I took this photo myself right out the airplane window! I was thrilled that it came out so well. The reflection was an unintentional bonus.

Doug — not so pretty coming back. I was hoping for a spectacular sunset and got only gray clouds.

  5. My family saw turtles when we went to the zoo in Madison last week…there was a big one who on his way to his food dish, walked over his water dish and dragged it with him to his food dish. Maybe he wanted to wash his food down while he ate?

I am glad you and OC found each other…love it when good things happen to good people. I will look forward to more pictures.

  6. Lori — these aren’t lnd turtles, they are sea turtles — way different in a “same” sort of way.

CrazyCath — yep, holiday. We flew to Kona, Hawaii. Oc went for business and then stayed an extra day. I went for FUN!

  7. Hey Quilly ~ it took me three visits to Kona Waves to find the turtle in the last picture, but I found the wing on the airplane right away 🙂

A Blessed Weekend is wished for you and OC
