Quilly is the pseudonym of Charlene L. Amsden, who lives on The Big Island in Hawaii. When she is not hanging out with Amoeba, she is likely teaching or sewing. Or she could be cooking, taking photographs, or even writing. But if she's not doing any of that, she's probably on Facebook or tinkering with her blog.

Oh my goodness. These are awesome. Just brilliant. Well done.
I’m writing to david! People have to see these!
Now you’re just making me hungry.
What can I say? You are a genius.
That second shot is my favourite, but hey, they’re all crystal-clear images.
Stunning Quill, the second one is amazing.
I love it!!
Those are awesome pictures! Absolutely beautiful and clear.
Absolutely beautiful!
Oh wow, I absolutely LOVE the first shot!!
Ohhhhhhhhhh you are so lucky!!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a LIVE dove in flight! (no… I haven’t seen any dead ones either…) I HAVE seen them on movies or tv… a long long time ago! These are GORGEOUS!
Wow! Those are very special pictures. You must have one really great camera and a steady hand.
So beautiful and graceful is a dove. Great shots!
while off in the distance, a dude named noah whispers, “nicely done, dove, nicely done.”
Just beautiful!
Lovely!
Very very cool. I want to do that!
Can you say “Stunning”? or “Breath taking”? Both those words describe these photos. Wow!! These really are awesome shots, Quilly!! Professional quality, for sure.
Thanks for coming over and telling me to get my tail feathers over here, haha.
Magnificent. My heart aches with the beauty of it.
What perfect shots, Quilly!!
Superb!!!!!!!
Great photos of this bird of peace.
We usually meet over at David’s blog commenting on his rhyme of the day, but I wanted to come over and congratulate you on having the post of the day.
Ah the last of the dinosaurs my son tells me, are the lizards and birds…each beautiful in its own way…the dove you have managed to capture with your camera is one of the most captivating to me…I always think of Noah’s release of the Dove and it’s return of the Olive branch. Beautiful photos, that’s some camera you have there!
