This is clearly not an isangelous pile of glasses and your contests are causing me to become cynicocratical. But then
i have a volgivagant nature so what do you expect.
Odds definitely stacked against me.
Well, I see the three glasses stacked on each other and I see a fourth one laying on top with the base facing me……but I don’t think THAT is a common phrase…..I’ll keep thinking!!
I think you make my head hurt!
Looking at this…I think I’ve reached my glass ceiling.
(BTW, I “Can’t See Clearly Now”)
Oh aggg….this one is worse than normal…or maybe it is me. Also, I’m getting a bunch of help from my kitty who needs a LOT of lovin’ this morning. She is laying on my chest as I try to type and I’m getting lots of head butts…she is very lovey dovey today.
this is very obviously the old adage “do not stack your glasses on my counter or i will smack you”
comes from the old english. medieval times, i think.
no wait, wait, this is a trick, isn’t it. glass is made from sand, so it’s about *sand*…
Arggggg……
Yikes I’m at a loss…still thinking
I need help.
~~ I GOT it! I BET I got it! ~~
*~~* happy dancin’ *~~*
…. and waiting for the WINNER to be announced!
(cuz I DOUBT I got it first!)
… and WHY are you an UNhappy blogger? Do NOT be an UNhappy blogger! BE a HAPPY blogger! I say to you… BE HAPPY!
Ummmm.
I’m getting thirsty!
do you know it’s bed time for me? how do you expect me to sleep???
ALL — The links and the sidebar ad are going to have to wait for tonight. I have Bell Choir practice and must get me ready!
Congrats Polona! This was a tough one.
I didn’t guess “eyeglasses” until Quilly said I was in the “wrong frame of mind.”
Polona?! You need to sleep IN occasionally! LOL! Congratulations!
Quilly… were you HOPING to hit a pedestrian today? Is today Hit A Pedestrian Day in Hawaii or something? You sound sO disappointed that no one jumped in front of you…
Brilliant. Wasn’t there a one on the picture at one point or did I hallucinate that? Anyway, these are always so clever.
lol…I read the answer and still didn’t get it for moment, ahhhh…then I saw it – makes sense since you’re doing that alphabet challenge. Good one!
What Shelly said!
Dr. john — I expect you’re going to single-handedly breath new life into those three words and rescue them from their pending obscurity.
Cath — all you had to do was think “glasses” and the answer would have come to you!
Jane — you see three glasses stacked on top of each other and a fourth glass turned on it’s side with the bottom facing toward you and all together they look like an i — i glasses = eye glasses. Easy peasy.
Melli — want some ibuprofen?
GEL — best comment on the post! I lol-ed!
Amber — pet the kitty before she steams up your eye glasses!
Holly — yep. Not!
Carletta — that’s my second favorite comment!
Thom — is that what I smelled burning?
Doug — yes, but I am not a qualified Psychiatrist.
Melli — right on both counts — and running one’s own domain is HARD WORK!
Jientje — I’d offer you a drink, but a bunch of people are busy playing with all my glasses.
Juliana — rock-a-bye baby in the tree top, when the wind blows the cradle will rock …. is my singing helping any?
GEL — by then I already had two winners and twenty two wild guesses from you.
Melli — I bet Polona put her guesses in at what for her is Lunch Time! AND, driving in Waikiki is a mega challenge — think Raven’s Wordzzle with MY words! — and most every day somebody steps off the curb in front of my car. Because of that I am extra alert and attentive. So, if nobody steps off the curb in front of my car, I wasted my attention span on nothing!
Raven — the picture up there now is the picture that’s always been up there.
Shelly — this was an OC challenge.
Carletta — what I said to Shelly!
Oh, that was good!
Doug — you didn’t have to act so surprised! OC came up with the concept and building materials. I came up with the design. Together we are dazzling (and modest, too).
Yes Quilly you did and it’s still burning. Even with the answer revealed I don’t see it…sigh…such is life. Congrats Polona!!
Thom — look at the shape the glasses form. Do you see an i? You should. You may need to have your imagination checked. Time for a tune up.
thanks, guys.
actually, i slept as a baby, thank you, Q 😉
and yes, tat was my lunch time between a moderately busy work day and an afternoon of french learning (c’est difficile si pas impossible)
Oh I get it now…i’m way past tune up Quilly…I need a complete overhaul LOL
