Hmm…one possibility comes to mind right away, but I am going to think about it a little more just in case…
I am puzzled. This is either way too easy or and more likely I am way off and to wit: I blame it on the altitude and freezing cold weather here on the mainland.
I am going bananas, can’t think, can’t think…
I got up early for this? So you could put a common object in front of me and ask me to name it? Obviously my throat is constricting my brain and I can’t think a bit!
I thought you said it was easy this week?
I have brain fog…
Another hitonious puzzle. I give up.
I have not yet recovered from the time change. My body refuses to get in the morning and my brain is on strike. Not even your challenge is sparking any thought. And you said it was easy…. Sigh.
I gave the easiest answer I could think of because I got nothing else.
Cool! I like Cath’s answer — I feel like that today!
arghhhhh
’nuff said, email with random guesses on way…
In my defence, at having sent you such a very late email, I didn’t look at the answers as it said ’16th Feb’ next to them 🙂 That’s my excuse and i am sticking to it 🙂
Appeal is a noun? My HEAD hurts….
Barb — usually that first electric thought is the correct one.
Thom — frozen Hawaiian Punch.
Melli — oops. Apparently my updater didn’t and you were all working with false information.
Cath — sorry, probably my fault.
Dr. John — you’re going to love my next post! NOT!
Raven — alas, those who know their parts of speech are struggling, most probably due to my inadvertent miss labeling.
Nessa — sigh, I’m sorry.
Barb — I like Cath’s answer and very much wish I’d have thought of it!
Alastair — I made a tone of mistakes on this one. Still not rested, I guess.
Melli — sorry. Snaffu.
i should have known. when you say it would be easy it never is… until some perspicacious reader comes up with the correct answer.
Well Barbara is very casuistry in her reply. I thought for sure the fozen Hawaiian punch would be the first response since she was going to think on it…HA HA HA Appeal is the most teterrimous answer I can think of…and easy pleeeeeeeeeeaaaaasssssssee I’m going to crawl back into my space with my other volgivagant members
<——————–Sternutation
AHA! I knew it.
As simple as that? *Smashes her forehead!*
Sure appeal is a noun. The first definition at dictionary.com is “an earnest request for aid, support, sympathy, mercy, etc.; entreaty; petition; plea.” Also what happens after a court verdict.
Juliana — it was easy. Ask the simple question, “What is it?” The answer, “It’s a peal.”
Thom — take a hot shower. That’ll thaw you out. And whining is very unbecoming in a grown man.
Melli — pft. Please read comment 18.
Jientje — yup. I told you it was easy.
Barbara — thank you. Today I love you best.
