April 9th — A Poem A Day
Without leaves for seasons
innumerable,
its branches long since
snapped away, only its trunk remains
stabbing defiantly toward
the sky.
Perhaps some glimmer of life,
some memory of green,
still pulses through its core
as it watches yet one more

So much more to a dead tree than just a dead tree! Great imagination and imagery.

Beautiful poem and photo.
I enjoyed part 4 of the mystery too. I just vanished into the fog yesterday. Didn’t do anything much.
