Inspiration to Stand

Amoeba got a belly laugh out of this.
Why don’t you have a seat and ponder why.
(You may have to biggie the photo to figure it out.)

As for me, I’ll stand.

~*~

Actually, I’ll be sitting — on an airplane winging my way back to Hawaii.  First thing in the morning, Amoeba and I are headed home — much sooner than either of us would like.  Unfortunately, duty calls.

  1. I hope you’re having a safe and wonderful trip home! The bench cracked me up. This week I took a photo of a propped-open door with a sign on it that read “please do not prop open the door”. Love stuff like that!
    LOL

  2. Nice bench…LOL. I’ll see ya tonight. I’m not working so far. I’ll let you know later in the day. Aloha my friend :0

  3. Safe trip home, I don’t think I’ll be sitting on the bench either, even though something wonderful might happen.

    1. Melli — yes, I guess it has. It doesn’t seem like 5 weeks to me, either. And did you read the plaque on the bench?

  4. I think I would have to believe in my heart that the thing would stay still! lol
Took your name in vain and linked to you in my last post. And – got a joke for you and OC which my eldest told me. (Hope OC has a sense of humour…)

Q – How many amoeba’s does it take to change a lightbulb?

    A – One, no! – two! no! – four! no! – eight! no!……..

Thought of OC immediately. Honestly. 🙂

      1. Ooh! Ooh! I got something to do with biology right?
Aaah. All those years in the classroom. Not wasted after all.
Well, maybe I was, but the time weren’t wasted anyway! lol

(I wasn’t sure if amoebae could do this. I knew some cells did, and I remembered that amoebae are single celled animals, and divide like that but not sure if the process is that rapid hence my thought it is probably inaccurate scientifically. Bacteria now, they are a different matter….!)

  5. Thumbeline — I don’t get the joke. Hopefully my Amoeba will. And I can’t come to see what you’ve done to me just yet. Sorry, I have work to do!

    1. amoebae (as I understand it) can double their cells again and again so first there is one, then two, then four, then eight… and so on. Very simplistic view and biologically, very inaccurate but a funny joke. ;0)
