Sick
If you want or need me today, I will either be asleep or hanging my head in the toilet. Â Someone come check to make certain I don’t fall in and drown.
Thanks for visiting me. Â I’ll catch you after my stomach lands.

UH-OH! Sounds like the flu. Take care of yourself so you’ll be ready for Thanksgiving!
Gigi — feels like flu.
Great. Feel better soon.
CL — Murphy is working overtime at our house.
Ugh.
I know how that feels. Take care of yourself and get well soon.
Thanks for your visits even when you’re sick!
Thumbelina — thanks/you’re welcome.
Awe, hope you feel better soon! That is no fun!
Betty — temp 100.3 degrees F.
Which is probably closer to 102 or 103. Whoever designed digital thermometers must have been fired from Microsoft …
LOL. Agreed.
About the digi thermometers. Don’t trust ’em. I go by a mercury one. Old fashioned but accurate. 🙂
ewwww… take care of yourself, rest and relax.
***virtual hugs***
Polona — I want to sleep but the snoring won’t let me!
Sorry it got you!
We’ll be here to hand you a fresh cool washcloth.
Karen — will you bring Amoeba some dinner, too?
We had “grub” last night: ramen with added goodies like a can of peas, a can of pork-n-beans, some baby carrots, some raw almonds… you get the picture. Not pretty, but filling, since SuperDad also added dehydrated potato flakes. It filled up the boys!
If Amoeba is still hungry there is a little bit leftover…
Oooooh No. I’m so sorry! I hope you are able to get some rest… and I hope your tummy lands soon. Prayers said.
Melli — my tummy wants food but I am not so sure about feeding it.
Poor baby. I hope you feel better soon.
Thursday Thirteen – Me & Music
Nessa — thank you.
Oh dear! I hope it’s more sleeping than anything else, and that you feel better soon!
Susan — thank you. I feel horrid. My whole flippin’ body hurts — even my hair & eye lashes.
Awww poor thing! Worshiping the porcelain god is never a happy thing.
Feel better soon!
Jenn — thank you.
Oh, you poor soul. I hope you feel better soon. How’s your house guest? 😉
Lavon — — thank you.
You and me both. Gatorade is gonna be my new best friend. Once I can keep it down.
Linda — I have pomegranate juice. It is too sweet. Send Gatorade.
Feel better.
SN – — thank you.
Oh my dear, I hope that you feel better soon. I know that it’s no fun. I much prefer my illnesses be the kind where my head feels like it’s underwater and I can’t think. Then, I can lay down and sleep. The ones where you’re so “active” sucks. Hope that Amoeba is taking good care of you with plenty of fluids.
Cherie — Amoeba has been out of town all week at a conference, so he has to be at work.
I’m so sorry! Hope you feel better soon!
(And is it a sign of paranoia or extreme germophobia that after reading on someone’s blog that they’ve been sick, I want to wash my hands and sanitize the keyboard? 😉 )
Barbara — I asked my Amoeba is I could get the H1N1 over the phone because I called my cousin on her birthday and learned she was in quarantine from it, and the next day I was sick.
I was missing your posts. Now I know better…
Feel welll soon!! 🙂
Mar — life has been crazy around here and then this germ came along and leveled me.
Poor thing : If you need anything CALL ME
Thom — I have it on very good authority that you aren’t answering your phone.
I am sad to hear you are feeling so lousy, Quilly. You don’t deserve this. Are your house guests still there ?? While no time is a good time to be sick, when there are guests, especially of the elephant variety, it’s an even worse time. Get well soon!!
Alice — my house guest went to a B&B and was quite happy to ride the bus to Waikiki and entertain herself. Ella, however, stayed home ill with me and you’re quite right, Elephants with stomach flu aren’t fun! Luckily we have two bathrooms! .
Oh dear, I hope you’re feeling better now.
