Feasting on Fun!
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Jones Soda. All opinions are 100% mine.
Izea and Jones Soda have gotten together to make our Thanksgiving a bit more fun. Â “Back in the day” when my step-kids were young we used to always buy a Jones Soda or three and try their imaginative holiday concoctions. Â I have gotten away from that tradition, but we are going to revisit it this year.
Amoeba and I are having an open house-type Thanksgiving. Â Several of our friends here on the island will be joining us for our Thanksgiving Feast. Â Before the food actually hits the table my guests will be invited to wear the Izea Turkey hat and have a taste of Tofurky and Gravy Jones Soda . Â Yep, that’s the bottle in my hand. Â Biggie the photo and take a closer look.
As well as the aforementioned soda, Jones has three other limited edition sodas on sale right now: Pear Tree, Candy Cane and Mele Kalikimaka. Â You know I am going to be looking for the Mele Kalikimaka one! Mele Kalikimaka is Hawaiian for Merry Christmas. Â The soda is a coconut and pineapple combo, two of my favorite things!
So, this is not the last you’ve seen of this wonderful Turkey hat or heard about Jones’ Tofurky & Gravy Soda. Â I’ll be posting after Thanksgiving to share our Holiday adventures with you. Â In fact, I am asking you to join me in this:
Quilly’s Thanksgiving Meme Challenge
Buy your own Jones Soda* (you can find a retailer near you on the Jones Soda website)  and have your own Holiday taste test.  Take pictures. Record the comments.  Write a blog post.  Then come back to my Thanksgiving post and sign in to Mr. Linky.

*I will not receive any monies for any soda you buy. Â I have been compensated for the link in my post. Â One bottle of soda and the hat were provided to me by Izea.

I don’t think I’m ready for any new taste treats but the hat is cute.
Dr. John — if the hat fits, wear it?
OH MY GOSH!!! My sides hurt I’m laughing sO hard! I have never even HEARD of Jones Soda — I’m not sure we HAVE it on the east coast — but I PROMISE you – IF I can find it, we are DOING this at my Thanksgiving! But… but… but… HOW can I get the hat??? Im not sure I can DO it without a HAT!!!
Melli — I don’t know how you can get a hat. Social Spark sent me mine because I write blog posts them. I do know that you can’t have mine!
Spoiled SPORT! I found the soda on line! I can order it for 3 day delivery. But I’m sure it will cost me MUCH less if I can find it at Kmart or Food Lion. I’m not holding my breath though…. I NEED the HAT! What is a TOFURKEY soda taste test without a HAT??? LOL!
Melli — I hope you didn’t search for the soda online since there is a link right in my post which would have saved you the trouble. And on the Jones Soda website they have a store locator. Use it! Maryland
Mele Kalikimaka makes me think of Bing Crosby. I might be brave enough to try it or the candy cane. But keep the Tofurky far, far away.
Linda — I take it you’re turning down your invitation to Thanksgiving dinner at my house?
Some of the local disc jockeys do an on air tasting of these sodas. Groans and sounds of disgust always accompany the sips.
Jeff — the disc jockeys I listened to in Vegas did the same. It was usually good for a belly laugh or two. Think how much fun it will be in person. You ought to try!
Love the picture but gravy soda doesn’t sound like a taste treat.
Silly Saturday #7 – Charm or Chores?
Nessa — give it a sip. You might be surprised.
What a HAT!! I love it.
I’ve never heard of Jones soda before, but then we have nothing fun here. Never heard of Tofurkey!
Hmmm… wonder if ebay can help me out with this one? I’ll try it.
Susan — check the Jones website under the “Locator” tab. They ship internationally.
