Experience the Music!
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Yamaha. All opinions are 100% mine.
Okay, I am old and old-fashioned. Â I know it. Â I was born that way. Â Even so, I have an iPod. Â You just rarely see me with it. Â It’s the earphone thing. Â When I have the earphones in I can’t hear anything else. Â I don’t want to miss the chime on my IMs, the buzzer on the drier, or getting called to the dinner table.
It bothers me that plugging in to my iPod means unplugging from the rest of the world. Â However, I have just found a really cool solution — the Yamaha PDX-60. And it comes in four different colors, black, blue, high-tech gray and eye popping pink! You know I want the pink one! (Although I wish it came in green to match my iPod.)
There are a number of reasons I like this system.  First off, I know that Yamaha only produces quality music products.  Come check out Amoeba’s music room and you’ll see why we’re loyal to the brand.  Secondly, this docking system is capable of powering two iProducts at once.  The iPod or iPhone in the sound deck can power up even while playing and another iPod or  iPhone can charge in the separate charging cradle.
With this system I can listen to my iPod from anywhere in the house — hands and ears-free — yet still be charged when it’s time to grab it and go. Also, I get to enjoy superior sound quality and, with Yamaha’s exclusive yAired ™ wireless technology, I get an instant connection with no sound delays.

Great idea! I don’t think being shut off from everyone and everything either.
I’m a lot more old fashioned than you are, I don’t even have one!
Being unplugged is what I would hate about it too. This system does sound appealing though.
Jientje — I bought mine for Amoeba, but he didn’t want it!
I love music and I love Yamaha products, but I don’t have an iPod. If I had, this product seems a great choice. Have a wonderful week, Quilly 🙂
Rosidah — I thought I was the only one in the world without an iPod, and now I have one and discover many others don’t!
Good to know both my girls have iPods, although Elayna would rather have the green as well!
Green is my favorite color.
I was hoping to inherit my oldest son’s iPod when he upgrades, but his younger brother has already offered to buy it from him, so Mom just lost out…
Does that make me even more old fashioned, since I don’t own one?
Still, if I did have one, I would want a dock that plays through speakers…
Karen — I can’t believe so many people don’t own iPods. I really thought I was the last person on Earth to get one — except Amoeba who still doesn’t have one because I bought mine for him and he didn’t want it!
I bought the best pair of little iPOD speakers at Target last year around Christmas for $5. They are battery operated and round and perfect for taking to different places.
