SO SO SO BINGO!
Why is it we get all hyped about food for the homeless at Christmas? Are they not hungry any other time?
Thank you Quilly for eloquently and briefly reminding us of the year round privilege of serving others.
Kelley — and so much can be done that doesn’t require money!
Good thoughts. Though it is good to give at Christmas, as Southlakesmom said, there are needs year round.
Barbara — yes, but most people don’t feel generous year around.
Wise words Quilly too bad we tend to forget this much of the time!!
Amanda — yes, the hungry are hungry every day, not just Christmas Day.
Very well done my friend. It is something we should remember all the time. 🙂
Excellent haiku and reminder to spread the wealth throughout the year.

So true, Quilly – people need a hand year round, not just a “make myself feel better” hand out at Christmas. Wise words!
that’s exactly why i dislike holidays and their commercial aspect in particular
