April 2nd — A Poem a Day
Summer Squall
Surfers and sunbathers blow away on the wind,
their footprints swirling after them.
White-capped waves charge the beach
and the sky turns black and blue.

You speak from experience Kimo Sabe (or however you spell it LOL) Great work. I thought about this yesterday and just can’t do a poem everyday. LOL 🙂 So I’ll just sit back and read them 🙂
Kimosabe — great scout — (or horse’s rear, depending on who translates) — can’t you scout out some time to write 30 little poesms. How long could it take?
You really have the knack for this!
Linda — thanks you.
Great imagery of a storm on the beach.
Barbara – thank you.
Also nice. Day 2 we’re doing good…
Doug — I hope you’re still saying this come Day 29.
Oooooo… sky bruises! LOL! Actually… that is quite lovely Quilly!
Thank you, Melli. It is short and sweet – -which is pretty much all I had time for since our electricity was off most of the day and I couldn’t get in to find out what the prompt was!
LOVE IT!
Thanks — I fished this one out of my Spam filter.
Love it! You did a great job with this one.
(Sorry if you get this twice… I wrote a comment and my computer froze and I don’t see it now so I don’t think it went through but just in case haha)
Thanks, Teresa — as long as your comment is complimentary, sending it twice is fine!
Ooooh there’s a storm brewing! 🙂
Akelamalu — there was.
Very visual and active.
Nessa — thanks. I kind of feel it is unfinished, but didn’t have the energy to keep huffing and puffing.
I was actually influenced enough to wrote two poems last night, but I’m not sure if I’m ready to share them.
SN – -we’re nice folks and not generally harsh critiques. You can share.
i forgot to write my day 2 poem!
Tilden – -now there’s a nice long attention span!
oh, drama on the beach… something i wouldn’t mind watching from a safe place (nice poem) 🙂
Polona — when we lived in Makaha I could watch it from about a mile up the hill from the coziness of our apartment.
