Kaleidoscope, By Patsy Clairmont

Seeing God’s Wit and Wisdom in a Whole New Light

The Book:
In Kaleidoscope, Seeing God’s Wit and Wisdom in a Whole New Light, By Patsy Clairmont, Patsy uses her trademark grace, style and humor to illuminate 31 one scriptures from Proverbs. Each reading is short, 2-3 pages, and ends with a series of questions called “Bits and Pieces”, followed by a series of related scripture called, “Held to the Light.” I took 31 days to read the book, using each chapter as a daily meditation and Bible Study. It was both an enlightening and delightful study.

The Author:
There is nothing I can say to describe Patsy that hasn’t been said so very much better on the official Patsy Clairmont website.   Check it out and you will be just as blown away by this phenomenal woman as I was.

My Thoughts:
The first time I ever heard of Patsy Clairmont is when she took the stage at a Women of Faith weekend I attended in Las Vegas.  She is one of my most cherished and remembered parts of a truly remarkable and joyous weekend of worship.  If you’ve been to a Women of Faith gathering you know what I mean.  If you’ve not been, why not!?

Patsy Clairmont is inspiring. She willingly and joyfully pokes fun at herself while revealing her own blind spots toward righteous living. One minute she has me laughing hysterically and the next I am amazed that she has so clearly defined my own personal struggles and failures. Patsy has an undeniably keen wit and she uses it with Godly insight and wisdom to share life-lessons that women can identify with. I highly recommend this book.

  1. I absolutely LOVE Patsy Clairmont! I look forward to HER at Women of Faith more than any other speaker! She is sooooooooo funny! I have a couple of her books – and I like them too – but she doesn’t come across “quite the same” in books…. I prefer her in person! However… I’m thankful for the books! I’m not sure I’ll be doing Women of Faith this year…
