Microfiction Monday #27
Susan from Stony River, welcomes us to Microfiction Monday,
where a picture paints just 140 characters.
Perhaps this week it would be best if you didn’t read between the lines.
If you’d like to join us, stop by Susan’s, pick up the picture prompt,
compose your story in 140 character (or less), post it,
and sign in at Susan’s place, then commence in the sharing!
The Anderson sisters manage the most successful fishing hole around. There isn’t a rod in the county that hadn’t been dipped there.

That’s all the offer is a fishing hole? pffft. They need to get “hooked” up with a Madam LOL Great take on the picture š
Thom — you really don’t “do” subtle, do you?
thom subtle??? that won’t be our thom anymore… LOL!
i’m sure there is more to this story. i can smell something fishy. maybe we should really read between the lines. š
Pink Lady — just remember, if you read between the lines, I am not responsible for the conclusions you draw. š
Love this! I wonder just how many ‘rods’ have been dipped!
Sylvia — one shouldn’t fish and tell.
Oh Quilly;
Those little tramps, love this.
I sure got a giggle!
Peggy — those sisters are something else, I tell you!
Fishing hole? Don’t see any worms. Nope. Grandma just doesn’t get this one. š
Grandma — the worms prefer not to be photographed. Something about plausible deny-ability …
are you sure you don’t want us to read between the lines? (kind of figures, especially given thom’s comment) š
thanks for the laugh š
Polona — reverse psychology — works on everyone EXCEPT Thom.
LOL! LOL! Pure as the driven slush . . .
Jabblog — indeed they are, and proud of it, too!
Quilly, loved the Double Entendre, Nicely done, This was much better than my entry.
Bill — thank you. I was trying to be obvious and yet subtle.
I guess it all depends on whether we’re talking about massive pike or didgy sardines.
Tony — I understand that crabs can be caught there, too.
Oh, and I needed that giggle this afternoon, too! What a hoot, Quilly! I love it! Definitely shouldn’t fish and tell! Hope you have a great week!
Sylvia
Sylvia — I am glad I gave you a chuckle. I hope yo have a great week, too!
I am so afraid to comment as it is Monday and my mind is wandering…..
I’ll let it pass unsaid….and grin like an idiot for a while. š
Hope — funny, that’s what all the men are doing when they leave Anderson Pond ….
Those are some BBAAADDD girls…! But lots of fun, right?
Kelley — I can’t say for sure since they really aren’t my type ….
I think this one’s my favorite.
This is likely one fishing hole where it’s hard not to catch something.
Erik — indeed.
Quilly, this is a rather “dirty” take right?
YOU ARE SO BRAVE!
Excellent MM!
Have you a great week!
Mine is here
hugs
shakira
Shakira — I don’t know that I would call me brave. And I am not a prude, but I rather prefer the word risquĆĀ© to the word dirty. Dirty sounds like something crude and I most certainly am not crude.
ooh missus, oh to know the joy of fresh fish. I’m still on the lyrical theme. My micro-fiction
