Susan’s Sparrow
Susan saw him first and asked me to take the shot with my zoom lens. I have literally hundreds of photos of blurry White Crown Sparrows. They never stay still for more than a second or two. Susan must have charmed this little fella just like she charmed everybody else here on the island. He sat still and pretty and let me take the shot. Only one though, and then he was gone.

At least he stood still long enough so that you could get this lovely shot!
Kala — that was a gift.
He’s adorable. And the best thing about digital cameras is you can keep shooting until you get ne that’s not blurry. At least for me.
Nessa — he only sat there for one click.
