Punny Monday #22
Welcome to Punny Monday. Every Sunday evening about midnight Pacific Daylight Savings Time I post an original photo and ask my readers to figure out what was going on in my brain (or Amoeba’s) when he/I/we made it.
What noun does this photo represent? EMAIL your answers and leave a comment designed to either help or confuse your fellow game players. The first contestant to EMAIL me the right answer wins a featured link in my blog which will display until next Monday when we’ll play this little game again. Enjoy.
PLEASE, do not write your guess in the comments. It spoils the game for the other players. Your guesses will be shared when the game ends. Oh, and just because someone announces they’ve won, doesn’t mean that they have. Please keep guessing until I post the answers!

Your email was right. Night night.
Thom — poor brain-dead dear.
EEEEEEEeeeeeee…….gads.
I haven’t a clue.
FOR THIS I STAYED UP UNTIL 3 AM??
🙁
Well, you won so you must have had some hint!
Funny how a sleepy brain can still work — it waited until I’d shut the computer down, brushed my teeth, went to bed, etc etc., and then it said, “Days…E. Duh!” So back to the computer…glad I did!
Januar-ee?? but it’s June now 😀
Mar — yep, and it’s almost July.
It’s too early for so many Mondays!
Karen — my apologies. I’ll ask that Mondays be left off your next calendar.
(I just got up to get a glass of water)
Karen – -don’t drink too much you’ll wet the bed.
I got up – not for a glass of water… but I can’t even venture a GUESS on this one! I’m without a clue!
Melli — but it’s right there in the photo clear as can be!
I’ve been looking at it for a while now and so far can’t come up with anything…
Barbara — sometimes one just thinks too hard!
Still scratching my head!!!
Jane — it didn’t help, did it?
This isn’t Easy.
Gel — it was E, but not Z.
.
This was hard! I’m glad I’m on London time!
I might stay that way just for your Mondays. 🙂

Mrs. Jim likes my entry. She is my editor, censor, and advisor. Sometimes I need the help of a woman’s mind. Mostly I don’t need it. I did help the dryer here as trouble shooting is one of my fortes left over from my engineering days of aerospace..

Jim — there is no need to make up words. I always use standard English.
.
Very clever as always, Quilly! My brain will NEVER be as sharp as yours is on words.
I should have known, you told me before, not to make up words. I will from here on check my answers with Google.
Probably I’ll be ‘out of pocket’ next week. 😉
I’ve got plenty of phrases but not a single noun in the bunch. I’m stumped!
Karen — perhaps a walk through the garden would help?
I got nothin’
Shelly — you must be in a daze.
clever!
Woot!
“Calendar Girl”, hey I like that — could I put it on my resume, do you think?
Congrats on the win. Abstract is as abstract does
Susan — just be careful where they put the staple.
Thom — this was pretty clear. Days from the calendar shaped like an E. Duh.
Even reading the explanation you just gave Thom, I don’t get it. The calendar part is obvious. How does the “e” make it calendar GIRL?!
Never mind. I now see that “calendar girl” was what you called Susan, and the answer is daisy. It’s been a long day that started too early. Sigh.
so simple once the answer is known… BUT…
anyway, congrats to susan!
Yeah there is NO way I would have gotten this one!
ROFLMBO!!! I never – ever – EVER – in a MILLION years would have gotten that! NEVER!!! That was great!!!
I don’t think I would have ever gotten that, either. Congrats to Susan!
TERRIFIC Puzzle! This one was tough, but gave my brain the gymnastics it needed for the week. I’m also cracking up at your comment “just be careful where they put the staple.”
Congrats, Susan!
This one was very tricky 8) , congrats to Susan!
Another one I would not have gotten. I just love Mondays. Not only do i have to go back to work for 5 glorious days, but i can come here a feel really, really…stupid. Thanks so much for the weekly ego boost. 🙂
