Punny Monday #27
Welcome to Punny Monday. Every Sunday evening about midnight Pacific Daylight Savings Time I post an original photo and ask my readers to figure out what was going on in my brain (or Amoeba’s) when he/I/we made it.
What noun does this photo represent (two words, one of them is compound)? EMAIL your answers and leave a comment designed to either help or confuse your fellow game players. The first contestant to EMAIL me the right answer wins a featured link in my blog which will display until next Monday when we’ll play this little game again. Enjoy.
PLEASE, do not write your guess in the comments. It spoils the game for the other players. Your guesses will be shared when the game ends. Oh, and just because someone announces they’ve won, doesn’t mean that they have. Please keep guessing until I post the answers!

I haven’t got a clue, so will sit on the fence and watch for the Answer later today.
Bill — watch out for those posts. Fence sitting can be dangerous, but it’s a sure bet you weren’t alone there today!
Is he laughing ? that would be the key clue… can’t see his face, no right guessing …will try later.
Uhm, Mar. It isn’t his FACE that’s important ….
I was wondering if you’d have this today since you’re away. I was excited to see that it was going up Hawaii time, which meant I’d have a shot at getting the answer in first — but I have no answer yet. Will have to think on it some more!
Barbara – -I was wondering if I was going to have it, too, but I know how you all love it, so here it is.
I HAD lots of ideas — but none of them fit two words – one of them compound. Ugh…
Melli — you had a lot of strange ideas. Really, I aren’t the answers almost always very straight-forward and simple?
Stumped. Totally stumped.
Mumma — sorry.
Yep. Look forward to the answer.
Doug — you should have been looking backward for it!
I have guessed therefore I am………..probably wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jane — yep.
This is a tough one. I think I just figured out the compound word but I’m stuck for what should accompany it. Agggh. Hope you’re having fun in Hawaii. I’m jealous as can be.
Raven — well, I suppose it has been awhile since you’ve used a rearview mirror!
I’m pretty sure the CLUE is giving me more trouble than the picture is! But I’ve sent you 5 guesses… two emails… and now I’m off to shower and bowl! 🙂 GOOD LUCK TO SOMEBODY!!! I HOPE somebody GETS this!!! Ohhhhhhhh! I just thought of ONE MORE… make that 3 emails!
Melli — so close, so close and yet so far!
Wow!! I am at a loss for words (or guesses) which you know oh too well is rare!!! Hope you’re enjoying paradise!! xoxoox
Caryl — this one was easy!
I’d love to say I was a little behind on this one. Alas …
Amoeba — I think you’re handsome all the way around!
mirror mirror on the wall… nah, i don’t think that’ll work…
HIGH FIVES Polona!!! You GO girl!!!!
Polona — didn’t work for Amoeba!
Melli — she is pretty amazing isn’t she?
woohoo, didn’t really think i’d get it.
thanks everybody 🙂
LOL Amoeba and Polona ;D
where is the right answer?? can’t go to bed without it! 8)
Mar – -yep and Polona got it!
Arggh. That’s a good one. Today was such a crazy day with VBS kicking off that I didn’t even have time to think about it.
Linda — any excuse is as good as another! 😉
Well once I hear the answer, it’s so obvious. Sigh. Good one.
Raven — that is true for everyone — sometimes even the person who got it right!
I never get these! 🙂
Beth — get your hubby to play with you. He and I seem to think alike in other ways.
Great Punny Monday! You always come up with witty puns.
Thanks, Rosidah!
Congrats, Polona! That was pretty clever. We left early for a one-day trip up and back to TN to close on our house yesterday, so I didn’t have time to think on it much, but I don’t know that I would have come up with that, anyway! It’s fun trying, though!
