Grab a camera and play along.
And even if you don’t join the fun,

Egg Lake had a beautiful mirror finish. I had to stop and photograph the clouds floating on the water.

I turned and looked the opposite way, and caught the trees admiring their reflection in the water.

Please biggie this photo. One of the perks of being an Avon Lady is getting invited into many beautiful homes.  A home I visited high above Egg Lake has this breathtaking view of both Mt. Baker and Egg Lake.

    1. Akelamalu — I agree! I walked into the living room, saw the view through the window and stopped dead. When I exclaimed how beautiful it was, the lady of the house didn’t even look up. She said in a half-bored voice, “Oh, can you see the mountain today?”

  1. *Sighing a deep breath!*
Those views of the reflections and the mountain/lake scenery are breathtakingly beautiful!
I can almost smell the fresh air (something I highly miss here, you sometimes get a wee bit early in the morning)!

    1. ‘Tsuki — you know, so far I haven’t tried to hike around that lake. The edges are so marshy I am not certain it is possible to circle it very closely.

  2. So beautiful! I was wondering why the lake would be called Egg Lake, but when i read Mount Baker, well I put 2 and 2 together that a baker needs eggs to do his thing with. Makes sense. 🙂

  3. I have never seen clouds reflected in water. This is awesome and absolutely beautiful.. To think that just a turn of the body could give you such a contrasting view of the fall colors. Beautiful.
