Quilly is the pseudonym of Charlene L. Amsden, who lives on The Big Island in Hawaii. When she is not hanging out with Amoeba, she is likely teaching or sewing. Or she could be cooking, taking photographs, or even writing. But if she's not doing any of that, she's probably on Facebook or tinkering with her blog.

Got my green on today, as does the rest of the family here at home. Of course, SuperDad wears it everyday as his work uniform.
Quil;
I just love Elmer Fudd and Porky.
I don’t think that I ever say this cartoon! 🙂
Happy St Paddy’s Day to you too!

Wearing my Green too!
Sorry Quilly,
My keyboard is sticking or maybe the work of the “little people”
That was fun! I love Looney Tunes. Not wearing green, but I did have clover antenna and kiss me I’m Irish earrings on. And the house smells goooood from a crockpot full of corned beef, cabbage and potatoes.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day Quilly!
Pretty good, pretty good. Happy St. Patrick’s day to you and that Irish-sounding feller.
One of my favourites! Thanks for the trip down memory lane 🙂 Hope you had a great St. Patrick’s Day!
We had a great St Paddy’s Day yesterday – supping Guinness and listening to an Irish Band! 🙂
Beautiful…and a beautiful day it was.
I finally got a chance to watch it. I’m struck by the fact that all of these stereotypes are acceptable, but in today’s world, I’m not sure they would be! Someone would be offended. On the other hand, the Irish have always been the best at laughing at themselves, so perhaps not.
We should all be more like the Irish in THAT respect!
That just reminded me of something — does anyone remember Paul McCartney (Sir Paul) doing a song called “Give Ireland Back to the Irish”? And they still knighted him? Wow…
