Come, Listen, Seek
Come all ye who are thirsty,
come to the waters;
And you who have no money,
come, buy and eat!
Come, buy wine and milk
without money and without cost.
Why spend money on what is not bread,
and your labor on what does not satisfy?
Listen, listen to me and eat what is good,
and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.
Isaiah 55:1-2
Lost sinners are often emotionally and spiritually bankrupt. They spend all their time, energy and money on things of this world, and their pleasure in those things soon wanes, leaving them empty and longing for more. But no matter how much they accumulate, the things of this world will never satisfy. Only God can completely fill our emotional and spiritual voids.
Make Jesus your sustenance. He is bread and wine – the repletion of souls.
May you never hunger or thirst again.
Come to the Water
(By Marsha J. Stevens)
R
Come to the water, stand by my side.
I know you are thirsty, you won’t be denied.
I felt every teardrop when in darkness you cried,
And I long to remind you that for those tears I died.
You said you’d come and share all of my sorrows.
You said you’d be there for all my tomorrows.
I came so close to sending you away,
But just like you promised, you came in to stay.
I just had to pray:
R
Your goodness is so great I can’t understand.
But, dear Lord, I know now that all this was planned.
I know you are here now and always will be.
Your love burst my chains and in you I’m free.
But, Jesus, why me?
R
Jesus, I give you my heart and my soul.
I know that without you I’ll never be whole.
Savior, you opened all the right doors.
And I thank you and praise you from earth’s humble shores.
Take me, I’m yours.
R

The Lost Crow says:I’m lost
if god created the heaven and the earth
we are the essense of god
the devil is the essense of god
so we are the essense of the devil
and so god is the essense of us
and the devil
therefore they cannont be different
and neither can be true
so it must be something else entirely

Disciple Quilldancer says:Lost Crow,
At least you came. If you’d stopped to seek and listen, perhaps you wouldn’t still be lost?
