God’s Country
I have been so homesick I spent the day looking through photographs of Idaho. This is part of the Clearwater River in Ada County, Idaho. Some of my closest moments with God have been spent with fishing pole in hand right here on this river.

Lori's Minute says:I saw our comment on Dr. John’s and decided to visit since I am done with the marathon (took way too long). I read your story about the semi driver and your car stalling. I can think of three times there were miracles I witnessed but did not know at the time. Later, after talking about it, we realize it was truly a miracle. I believe miracles happen all the time but most of the time we do not know it. The ones we are aware of such as your story only comfirm my belief even more.
Dr. John tells great stories. If you search on his blog you will see his miracle stories and currently on Tuesdays he talks about how he started out not believing in God and what happens to change his mind.

Pauline says:Sorry you are feeling homesick. Study the picture for a few minutes. Close your eyes. Pick up that fishing pole (in your mind) and return to the wonderful memories. I used to fish as a child. Loved it. Of course, I must admit, I depended upon my brother to bait the hook and remove the catch. Lord, it was the catching, the anticipating I enjoyed. Enjoy your mental vacation to home. Best wishes…
