everything is a bit out of focus but, strangely, it works!
LOL! That’s what I told OC. He thinks out of focus is out of focus, period.
I was very frustrated with this shot. I was sitting in the exact same spot from where I took the sunflowers, the same breeze was blowing, the camera was set on the same settings, but — perhaps because this seed head is so much closer — I just couldn’t get a decent focus.
Tonight I go to my first photography class. It’s called “how to use your camera” and I am hoping it is truly as basic as it sounds.
Love the soft background to this portrait and I’m glad you posted it even though it’s a bit out of focus. It has so other cool qualities to it. (Forgive me for forgetting to come by here to your photo blog. I”m going to put up a link to it now!)
Gel — I love this photo even though most of it is ut of focus — it has a hazy Summer afternoon feel to it.
